Bobby W. Deese

Bobby W. Deese, age 73, of Cottondale, FL, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Jackson Hospital after a long battle with cancer.

Bobby was born on April 15, 1951 in Jackson County, FL. He was a lifelong resident of our beautiful county. He was of the baptist faith and loved classic country music. Bobby enjoyed spending time outdoors, rather it was spending time riding his horses or fishing. He was also extremely talented in gardening, and could make just about anything grow and produce a crop.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Elizabeth Deese; son, Tracy Deese; and brother, Eddie Deese; brother in law; Charles Weeks.

Bobby is survived by his two sons, David Deese and Johnny Deese; brother, Glynn Deese; sisters, Frances Pitts and husband, John Pitts, Sue Green, and husband, Harry Green, and Carolyn Weeks; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Monday, April 29, 2024 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Cottondale Baptist Church Cemetery with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends for the viewing and visitation one hour prior to the service at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
